“เด็กประถม…จะเขียนภาษาซีควบคุมหุ่นยนต์ได้จริงเหรอ?” สิบปีที่แล้ว! คำถามนี้…ผมเคยได้ยินจากผู้ใหญ่หลายคน รวมถึงครูบางคน และแม้แต่พ่อแม่ของนักเรียนเอง “เด็กแค่ ป.4 เองนะ ยังเขียนเรียงความไม่คล่องเลย จะให้เขียนโค้ด C เหรอ?” “ภาษาซีมันยากนะครับ ผู้ใหญ่บางคนยังเขียนไม่ได้เลย…” “เรียนแบบนี้แล้วเด็กจะเอาไปใช้อะไร?” ผมเข้าใจคำถามเหล่านี้ดี และเข้าใจมากเป็นพิเศษ… เพราะเมื่อ สิบกว่าปีที่แล้ว ผมเองก็ยังทำงานประจำเต็มเวลาในสายอุตสาหกรรมขนาดใหญ่ ผมทำงานกับระบบจริง เครื่องจักรจริง และระบบอัตโนมัติในโรงงานจริง และรู้ดีว่า… โลกนี้ไม่ได้วัดกันแค่คะแนนสอบ
